Mark Fleming
CEO / Accountable Manager
Mark is a third-generation Rotary Pilot and Engineer with over 23 years and 6,000 hours of accumulated helicopter flight time. A former Captain for the Ontario Government’s Ornge Air Ambulance based out of Toronto, Canada, he gained invaluable experience at the helm of multi-engine Agusta 139 helicopters in a demanding 24-hour VFR/IFR crew environment. Prior to his time with Ornge, Mark spent nearly a decade flying, maintaining helicopters and assisting with operations in the Caribbean for his family’s helicopter company. His vast aviation experience paired with region specific knowledge make him the perfect lead for CalvinAir.
Greg Scott
Operations Manager
Greg has been in the aviation industry for over 28 years, 25 of which have been spent flying helicopters. With over 11,000 hours of flight time, Greg is a veteran when it comes to sightseeing tours, aerial photography, videography and cinematography. He has flown not only throughout the Eastern Caribbean Islands, but also Jamaica, Guyana and the Canadian Rocky Mountains. In the past, Greg has held the positions of Chief Pilot, Safety Manager, Flight Test Examiner, and Director of Operations.
Timothy Francis
Director of Maintenance
Tim joins the CalvinAir team from the Canadian Coast Guard, bringing over 27 years of helicopter maintenance experience to the organization. His career as a helicopter mechanic has taken him across Canada, the United States and the Caribbean, working in various utility functions such as forestry, mining, fire-fighting, surveying, power-line and cell-tower construction, and heli-tourism. Tim’s previous stint in the Caribbean included working in Antigua for 6 ½ years, and he is very excited to be back on the island.
Steve Gray
Chief Pilot
With more than 28 years of helicopter experience and over 11,000 hours of flight time, Steve is a highly-qualified asset to our operations team. Steve’s aviation background spans a wide range of operating conditions and environments, from arctic drill moves to corporate/utility flying across the Caribbean and Canada. His extensive experience flying as part of filmmaking crews, makes him a sought after pilot for movie and television production shoots. Steve has previously held Base Manager, Operations Manager and Chief Pilot positions.
Frankie Francois
Quality Assurance Manager
Frankie is a truly invaluable member of our operations team, having accumulated more than fifty years’ experience in the aviation industry. As an airline professional, he has served in Executive and Senior Management positions with airlines in the Caribbean region as well as Africa. Frankie is an indispensible member of our team, contributing his extensive experience working with various stakeholders across the industry including the Eastern Caribbean ECCAA, United States FAA, United Kingdom CAA, European Union EASA, Cameroon CAA, Trinidad and Tobago CAA, Guyana CAA, and Jamaica CAA.
